Please can you assist me
Good day
Taking to court wont be a waste of time. We advise you do so.
Good day. My child’s father took me to court last year out of nowhere for visitation rights after we haven’t heard from him for months. At court I gave him his full rights, which was my decision for him to have her every second weekend, every second public holiday and half of the school holidays. It was also agreed that he buys toiletries, I will purchase groceries and we will go half on aftercare fees and I will drop her and fetch her at aftercare. He offered to put her on his medical aid, and all of this is on black and white from the court as we both agreed. But now he wants to take her when he feels like, pay when he feels like, then you don’t hear from him, he vanishes and this is causing a lot of inconveniences for me, not only financially. I decided to register her on a medical aid myself and asked him to pay half, only R200. He still hasn’t paid a cent. In the beginning when he didn’t bring his part I left him because I know he had to adjust financially. But I can’t keep being okay with all the inconveniences because his the one that took me to court because he wanted to be in his child’s life.
Good day
We suggest you approach the Maintenance Court ASAP.
Good day can i go for an increase by child maintenance as my childs father has been paying R800 since he was born he is 6years old now
Yes, you can.

We suggest you approach the maintenance court. If there is no order in place at present, then your daughter would have to do so.

I am 22 years old and a full-time student at UWC, i want to know if i can apply for child maintenance from my father who has stopped paying child support for me when i was very young? And is there a way for me to apply for back child support for all the unpaid years?
Good day
Yes, you can apply for a maintenance order. The court would advise you on whether you speficially can claim for when you were young.
I want to visit maintenency court but I don’t know where his working is it possible for the court to find out for me?
Good day.
If you are unsure about the whereabouts of the child’s other parent, then the maintenance investigator can trace him or her.
Hi good day I have been going to court for the past 2 years and nothing has happen no father show up nothing… Mitchell plain Court has close my case and said they will call me if they catch the father but I’m still waiting what to do now

You may consider getting your own private investigator to find out the whereabouts of the father.
Can I claim for maintenance seeing that my son’s fathers is only giving half of the nanny fee which is R300 an only buying every second week a pkt of kiembies an a small box of milk?

Can I apply for maintenance for a stepson I raised since 3 months after his father divorced me 2 years ago ,child don’t want to live with his own mother or father ,he is now 13 years old
Good day
We advise you to approach the maintenance court ASAP. Usually, parents must claim, but if you explain your case, they should assist you.
Can a mother increase a maintenance order for 2 children from her ex and demand that he pays more (even if he cannot afford it) if her new husband does not have an income and she has to cover all costs now directly from her salary?
She can ask, but it does not mean one must agree. If she took him to the maintenance court, the court would determine whether her request is fair. If not, they won’t approve it.
My daughter have been going to court two months for child maintenance court and staying out of work and not get paid for that day and every time the father of the child don’t appear, but the last time they found out from the sheriff of the court never handed him the papers. Now how does she found out before she goes to court that he will be there and don’t go for nothing and waste a day in court?
She has another date for next week.
She will have to keep in touch with the maintenance officer. They would know beforehand whether he has been served or not.
Good day, i would like to know how do i go about to get the mother of my child to pay 50% of my child school fees, travel and other expenses? as its taking a financial toll on me as im struggling to pay my debt, and to maintain a healthy credit rating and to save money. We are both employed.

The way forward is to approach the maintenance court in your area. The Court would call you both in and make a fair decision as to what she must pay.
